Chichester Nursery School
An exciting free-flow environment
Chichester Nursery School for children over 3 stimulates curiosity and exploration as well as developing independence.
Divided into workshop areas where children can select resources and activities according to their interests, it also includes a large well-designed garden area.
Highly skilled staff, led by qualified teachers, plan stimulating activities across all areas of the Foundation Stage curriculum and follow children’s interests to extend and develop their learning.
Careful observation, and our knowledge of each child, allows us to create an individual learning experience tailored to their own interests and style of learning.
Staff at the Chichester Nursery School are experienced in supporting a wide range of special educational and health needs, and children with additional needs are fully integrated into the Nursery. See our Local Offer for further information.
Our aim is that children will leave us as self-motivated, confident and independent learners ready for the next stage in their education.
The Chichester Nursery School offers 15 hours of free, government funded education from the term after a child’s 3rd birthday (although children can start as soon as they are 3). We also have 30 hours free entitlement places for children whose parents qualify.
Additional sessions are available from 8 am to 5 pm so parents can create a childcare package to suit their individual needs, and a hot meal is provided for all children attending the lunch sessions.
